Gap: Farmers of Tripura is facing a critical problem in getting guidance on scientific fish farming as well as inputs (fish seeds, feeds, medicines, soil and water testing, disease diagnosis, farm instruments etc) in reasonable price. Farmers of Tripura also find it difficult to know the proper price of their produce.

Solution: The above mentioned gap between producers and consumer can be narrowed down by proper management. Mamani Aqua Research Centre can be a organisation to narrowed down the gap by developing a proper linkages between the stakeholders in the field. Our concept is to provide platform for all the fish farming community to get knowledge, skills as well as inputs at reasonable prices.

The business proposal is to provide a platform which will benefits farmers, and unemployed youth of the states in particular and whole country in general. The main aim of the project is to build a facility which will provide benefits to the fish farmer in multiple ways. Presently, fish farmers are facing many problems in fish farming, such as:

  • Lack of knowledge on scientific fish farming
  • Non-availability of fund for carryout fish scientific farming
  • Non-accessibility to quality inputs
  • Non accessibility to quality testing laboratories
  • Non accessibility to valued customer
  • Customers of the region and country are not getting good product at reasonable rates
  • Lack of motivation for undertaking scientific fish farming
  • Lack of motivation to teach the scientific farming by the known farmer to the fellow poor farmer friends
  • Our moto is to use our famous E-commerce portal https://sabsesastakart.com for solving above mentioned problems in more scientific way.
  • We will open our service and collection centres at major places in the states where following facilities will be provided to the farmers or customers:
    • At our sub-centres, trained personals will be available for guiding the fish farmers about the scientific fish culture
    • Farmers will be registered under our affiliate marketing programme, so that they can earn some extra income by promoting scientific fish farming in their locality or outside (Multi-Level Marketing strategy)
    • Our centres will only sell farm inputs which are tested and recommended, thus farmers will not be cheated with fake products.
    • All the sub centres will be linked with the main centres for testing water and soil samples collected from the farmer’s field and guide them corrective measures.
    • Farmers products will be sold through the online platform and their produced fishes will be harvested from the ponds based on the demand created in our site by the end users. The platform will help farmers to sell their products directly to the customer so that they can derive maximum profit and enhance their income.
    • The end users (fish consumers) will get quality product (without any contamination of formalin) at reasonable rates though our centre. The process will eradicates so many middlemen who are looting fish farmers and earning more benefits as compared to a fellow farmer.

No start-up of such kind is available in the country for the fish farmers and the fish eaters. The proposed services will be much better than any existing micro units. There will be no competition as such for this project. Farmers and people of the region is welcoming our initiative, as experimented for more than a year.

Our service can target the whole population of the country if helped by the Government of India.

  • Fish farmers of India (4 million fisher folks-Source: NFDB, India)
