13 IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT OUR NATIONAL FLAG: EVERY ONE MUST KNOW ABOUT!!

In any National Day such as Independence Day or Republic Day it is generally observed that Chains are made with paper version of the Indian flags. Although this is not done with any intention to demean our national flag but the Flag code of India instructs not to do any kind of decoration with the National Flag especially not to be used for making festoons, rosette or bunting. So, here to educate the people of our country we are summarising some important do's and don'ts about our National Flag below:
Do's and Don'ts
1. Hoist the Flag on a Suitable Height
2. Hoist the Flag with Full Respect
3. Do not use Flag as Banner, Festoons, Rosette or Bunting etc.
4. Do not use the Flag for Decoration
5. National Flag should not be Trampled upon or Torn
6. Do not let the Flag Fall on the Ground
7. Do not join Clothes for Resembling the National Flag
8. Do not use the Flag as a Toy
9. Using Plastic Flag is against the Code of Conduct
10. Do not Wear Clothes with the Colour of the Flag
11. Do not Paint the Flag on the Face
12. Do not use for commercial purpose without permission
13. Punishment: 3-year Jail Term, or Fine, or Both

We shall be observing 73rd Independence Day tomorrow marking 72nd anniversary of Independence it is a sincere request to everyone to maintain Flag Code of India.
