Features -

• Origin-  The Golden Retriever was originally bred in Scotland in the mid-19th century.

• Distinct feature - They are the large and strongly built breed having a dense, water-repellent wavy coat. They are blonde, yellow, or gold in colour. They are the natural athletes, agile and competitive. they are the most lovable pet because of their extreme tolerant behaviour. All other dog suffers from bad breath, however,  the golden retrievers are blessed with the soft mouth and smells fresh always.
• Coat - For better results, regular brushing is mandatory as they have dense, straight and firm coats.  
• Temperament - Their temperament is attributed as kindly, friendly and confident. They are not "one-man dogs" and are generally equally amiable with both strangers and those familiar to them. Thus, it makes them not suitable as a guard dog.
• Activity - They enjoy swimming, long walks/jogging and even some serious exercise.
